Halloween 2010

This year's Halloween (Saturday) was a lot more exciting than last year-by far.  This may be due to the fact that David and I didn't even dress up last year, which was a real bummer.

This year David decided to go as a Chilean miner and I went as a chola (Latina gangsta for those of you who don't know). We were both ethnic! Peep the pic :)

BUT BEFORE THAT....
We carved pumpkins! Which turned out to be quite a struggle in finding good sized pumpkins! We had to go to 5 different stores or so to find some! I would've been happy with just some little pumpkins, but I guess David wanted these pumpkins to look legit.
David decided to do a black widow pumpkin, which looked awesome.

I decided to go a little bit more cliche- thanks Brandon.

Then after we went to the trunk-or-treat activity at the church. Turned out to be pretty popular in the neighborhood. We ran out of candy super fast- sure wish I could've had some!
We didn't go to any parties, but I think that we had a good, wholesome Halloween. We got some free food, some candy, got to socialize with some friends and get dressed up. Then afterwards we made sopapillas and watched Hocus Pocus.  Pretty great I'd say!

Next year: I think I'd like to do a couples costume :)
